Accessing eResources - On and Off Campus

Go to CHSL homepage at  https://case.edu/chslibrary/ and search for desired resource using the Search Box tabs.

Your search results page will have OpenAthen-ized URL's that will link you to the CWRU SSO page to sign in.

• Regardless if you are wired/on-campus or using Case Wireless or are off-campus, START at the CHSL homepage since most of the links on the library website are OpenAthen-ized for seamless and faster authentication. Most platforms will not properly authenticate you if you try to login at the vendor website.
• Clear out your cookies, cache, history, etc. consistently BEFORE accessing a resource, as vendors are constantly updating their URL’s to time-out (for security reasons).
• Don't take no for an answer. If Safari says 'Can't connect to server' or Chrome says 'Failed to Connect' ...refresh the browser 2-3 times.  Sometimes it takes a minute for the browser to catch up. If needed, try connecting using another browser.
