Skip to Main ContentOur residents and fellows across specialties serve as important clinical teachers to the Case Western Reserve University medical and PA students. In their capacity as teachers, residents and fellows need to understand the expectations for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, evidence-based medicine, and the core tenets of the profession of medicine. As an LCME-accredited medical school, Case Med seeks to provide just-in-time training about the key learning objectives of our clinical rotations. This helps in fostering better learning and higher engagement of medical students in the clinical work of caring for patients. Please take a look at the Resident as Teacher modules (updated version coming soon). It will provide some valuable tips on teaching in the hospital and in the outpatient practices.
