Troubleshooting

  • Connect via Case Wireless (not Case Guest) or VPN (Virtual Private Networking) whenever possible.

  • START at the CHSL homepage since most of the links on the library website are OpenAthen-ized for seamless and faster authentication. Most platforms will not properly authenticate you if you try to login at the vendor website.

  • Try another browser if you are still having trouble accessing a service.

  • Clear out your cookies, cache, history, etc. consistently BEFORE accessing a resource, as vendors are constantly updating their URL’s to time-out (for security reasons).

  • Don't take no for an answer. If Safari says 'Can't connect to server' or Chrome says 'Failed to Connect' ...refresh the browser 2-3 times.  Sometimes it takes a minute for the browser to catch up. If needed, try connecting using another browser.
