Resolving Conflicts
When you have completed the title and abstract screening process you will inevitably have differences amongst your reviewers regarding the inclusion or exclusion of a particular citation. This information is visible on the Review Summary screen. To resolve any conflicts, click the Resolve Conflicts button.
The Final Decision regarding conflicts should be carried out by the team leader, however, any team member can perform this role if the appropriate settings are selected in the Rules area of the Team Settings.
Conflicts must be resolved prior to moving forward to the next phase, Full Text Review. To resolve a conflict, one team member must select either the Yes or No button to the right of the citation that is under contention.
**It is important to note that if you setup your Covidence Review using default settings, which requires two (2) reviewers, you will be unable to move into the Full Text Review portion of the review if there is only one (1) reviewer.**
When you have finished all decision-making regarding the title and abstract screening you will be moved forward to Full Text Review.
